A 5.2 FSI, naturally aspirated engine.
The 5.2 FSI is available in two versions: the V10 with 540 hp and the V10 plus with 610 hp. The V10 enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.6 seconds before continuing on to a maximum speed of 320 km/h, while its V10 plus counterpart accelerates in 3.3 seconds and can reach up to 330 km/h. Both the V10 and V10 plus feature a naturally aspirated engine, for a sound that is viscerally authentic.
The family resemblance is undeniable.
No model wearing the Audi rings is closer to motorsport, none is more striking and more dynamic than the 2017 Audi R8 V10 plus Coupé. The road model shares over 50% of its parts with the Audi R8 LMS racecar, including an Audi Space Frame that’s 95% similar, as well as the same heart – a 5.2 FSI V10 engine
The view from the virtual cockpit.
The Audi virtual cockpit combines the functions of a central MMI monitor and conventional instrument cluster in one unique, 12.3-inch TFT display. The graphics processor generates 60 crystal-clear frames per second to ensure that the needles of the speedometer and rev counter are displayed with absolute precision. The R8 driver can select from three modes: Classic, Infotainment and Sport, or customize the display in Individual mode.
Audi magnetic ride.
Based on road conditions, sensors in the R8 monitor road conditions and adjust the dampers within a fraction of a second. The driver can also choose between various modes to adjust the drive from a comfort-focused experience to a more dynamic ride.
A fibre to be reckoned with.
The all-new Audi R8 V10 plus features gloss carbon fibre elements for a distinct motor-racing look and more dramatic road presence. The fixed rear spoiler also creates greater downforce and improved grip in corners. The 2017 Audi R8 V10 Coupé can be enhanced with the optional Carbon exterior and interior packages.
